Walnut Chippendale Slant-Front Desk
Description:
Desk with bold serpentine interior, document drawers with turnings and flames, and block-and-shell prospect door with carved tulip. Case with four graduated drawers and ogee feet.
Materials and Techniques:
Walnut, white pine, tulip poplar and hard pine with brass.
Condition:
Replaced brass. Two foot facings are replaced.
