Rare Maple Queen Anne Armchair (SOLD)
Description:
Armchair attributed to William Savery. Chair with cupid’s bow crest, vase-shaped splat, scrolled arms, scalloped aprons, bobbin-turned front stretcher and “crook’t feet.”
Materials and Techniques:
Maple with rush seat.
Condition:
The ears are pieced out and the rush is replaced.
