Louis B. Sloan was a well respected instructor and local artist that graduated from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art and taught there for 35 years. Sloan was known for being a talented artist and a kind and patient teacher. Before his death in 2008, he had created a beautiful landscape of Chester County he entitled "Fall in Chester County" which he had bequeathed to the American Academy of Sacred Arts. In addition to the original work, 250 high quality prints were created and signed by the artist which he intended to be sold to benefit the organization. To enjoy Sloans print and support the Academy, HL CHALFANT will be offering the signed prints in our gallery. You may purchase them framed or un-framed.
