A Masterpiece Crazy Quilt

A Victorian phenomena, elaborate silk, velvet, and embroidered quilts were made to display in ornate parlors, and survive because many were never used as bedcovers.  This elaborate example includes birds of many colors, silver metallic yarns embroidered in the shape of fish, large compotes, and a wide variety of colorful silks and velvets.  Professionally mounted for display.
