Maple Queen Anne High Chest
Description:
Presented in a great old finish, this engaging “highboy” has a nice cornice with map drawer, a two-over-three drawer arrangement in the top with a two-over-three drawer arrangement in the bottom with drop finials and cabriole legs terminating in pad feet. Original engraved brasses.

Maple.
Condition:
A great old surface adorns this piece. There is a missing strip of wood on the left-hand side of the base of the chest supporting the top. There are lip repairs to each of the drawer fronts.
Origin: Connecticut.
Date: c. 1750.
Provenance:
Part of the Mary Aliss estate and later sold to present owner through Leigh Keno.
